Time Management for Student Athletes

Being a successful student is already a challenging task. Likewise, excelling in an athletic pursuit is also a formidable endeavor. In the professional world, we are often only asked to be masters of our one chosen craft. However, student athletes are expected to balance rigorous academic course loads while simultaneously pushing the boundaries of their physical abilities and their sport.

In the video below, Tiffany Toney — who participated in three collegiate sports in her college career — identifies time management, communication, goal setting, and social support as key drivers for her success as a student athlete.
