Level I Part 2 Judges Workshop in Brentwood, TN

Who may attend:

  • Current Level I, II & III Judges who need seminar credit may attend.
  • All professional members, 18 years or older, may attend judges workshops for information purposes, however attendees must be 18 years or older to test for certification.

Requirements For Certification:

  • Must be a professional member of USTA.
  • Level I: Level I Part 1 certified to take part 2. Level 1 Pt 1 is an online certification. You can order it from the US Twirling Shop, and it INCLUDES the newly updated Manual.

Advance Preparation:
Participants must be familiar with the material in the judges’ handbook.
Materials needed:

  • USTA professional Membership. (MANDATORY BEFORE ATTENDING)
  • Judges’ Level I and/or II Workshop Manual – New and Updated
  • Championship Events Role Model Descriptions (suggested)Order in advance from the US Twirling Shop.
  • Notebook, post-it notes, pens, high lighter, snacks, drinks. (Lunch will be provided.)

About Jackie Stewart

Jackie Stewart is one of the premier coaches and judges in the sport of baton twirling. Her knowledge encompasses forty years of experience in the field. Her passion for the sport is shared with athletes, other coaches, and judges. She is the Director of the Education Department for USTA, the twirling organization that is renowned for it's educational opportunities for professionals. As the Judges Chair for the World Baton Twirling Federation, she travels extensively to educate and facilitate the training of athletes, coaches and judges throughout the world. Her greatest accomplishment is her six grandchildren (3 boys and 3 girls) who are perfect in every way. Jackie lives in Spring Hill, TN and in her spare time she likes to play golf, tennis, read historical novels, and she's addicted to The Good Wife, Mad Men, and Nurse Jackie.
