You do not have to be certified by a federation to start a twirling program. However, many organizations, like USTA offer education and tools for members in getting started all the way up to teaching the highest levels of our sport. USTA also offers liability insurance for certified professionals. It can also boost your program to be certified.

OK – I’d like to start a twirling program and want to know how to get certified. Where do I start? It is unclear.
